Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully. It is the policy of KEUDOS CLEAN LTD to strictly enforce its Terms of Agreement in the event of any dispute.

Within these terms, Keudos Clean LTD may be referred to as US or WE, and those who use us as a service are referred to as YOU, CLIENT or CUSTOMER. 

You agree that any use of the services provided by KEUDOS CLEAN LTD constitutes your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Our cleaning service KEUDOS CLEAN LTD may be arranged by telephone, email, post, word of mouth, face-to-face or online and, in each of these cases, the client agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

A. Carrying out of cleaning

A1. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the cleaners have full access to the property being cleaned, and that the correct details of its location have been provided. 

A2. For end-of-tenancy cleaning services, it is essential that the tenant, owner, agent or anyone else is present at the property due to potentially harmful chemicals. We will not be responsible for harm coming to anyone present.

A3. Following an end-of-tenancy clean, we will not be responsible for any dirt, debris or damage caused by those entering the property. 

A4. Any issues not reported within 24 hours of any clean will not constitute rectification or compensation unless otherwise agreed, and will in no way serve reason for non or part payment. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to add charges, interest and any fees incurred in the event of assigning a debt collection agency. 

A5. Cleaners will not perform any deep clean requiring the use of chemicals deemed particularly harmful to their health, or carry out specialized cleaning of any antique, delicate or valuable items. In the event that we’re asked to do so, we will not be liable for damage incurred. All fragile and breakable items must be secured or removed if necessary.

A6. Fridges and freezers must be thoroughly defrosted and emptied before cleaning can commence. Kitchen cupboards must be emptied before cleaning can commence (if deep or end of tenancy cleaning requested).

A7. During a domestic clean, we will not be responsible for pets, the actions of pets caused by loss of access, or damage caused to or by pets while or after a cleaner is on site. 

A8. We will not be held liable for work not completed, or not completed to a good standard, if other people, or tradesmen are working in the same property when our cleaners are working and carrying out the job.

A9. In the interest of their health, cleaners are not encouraged to and are not responsible to move heavy goods to clean beneath or around them. This includes heavy furniture, and white goods such as washing machines and fridge/freezer units.  

A10. The client must allow the cleaner access to hot water and power. In the event that power or water is not available during a clean, work will not be carried out and the client will be charged 50% of the agreed rate unless otherwise agreed. 

A11. We shall not be liable for the shrinkage of carpets as a result of natural fibre carpets being wet cleaned, and we shall not be liable for the shrinkage of carpets as a result of poor fitting. We shall not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of the Client placing furniture on a carpet which has not completely dried.

A12. The standard end of tenancy cleaning does not include cleaning of walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exteriors of windows and doors, window shuts and door shuts. If the client requires cleaning of walls then KEUDOS CLEAN LTD cannot be held responsible for any unsuccessful results or any damage caused to the paintwork.

A13. Wherever cleaning chemicals are being used, other users of the building should be excluded from the area while cleaning is in progress. Cleaning chemicals, cleaning products and potentially dangerous equipment should only be used by our appropriately trained cleaning personnel. Our cleaning personnel are trained in the use of equipment and cleaning products to follow manufacturers’ or suppliers’ usage guidelines. As per above In no event shall we KEUDOS CLEAN LTD be liable for any claims, penalties, loss, damage or expenses, howsoever arising, out of or in connection with use of the supplies and cleaning materials for the execution of the cleaning service, including, without limitation, direct or indirect loss, consequential loss or damage, loss of profit or goodwill, loss of data, loss arising from use or inability to use supplies or cleaning materials.

B. Cancellation

B1. If not notified of cancellation more than 48 hours prior to a clean, we will not refund any deposit paid in advance, and/or we may charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price for the booked service. This applies to any scheduled domestic or commercial clean, end-of-tenancy or AirB&B service. 

B2. The Client must pay us any amounts that he/she/company owes according to the terms contained within this document.

B3. KEUDOS CLEAN LTD reserves the right to cancel the cleaning service with immediate effect due to non payment.

B4. KEUDOS CLEAN LTD reserves the right to withdraw the services and/or to terminate a contract at any time with one month’s written notice.

C. Staff

C1. The client agrees not to offer any additional jobs, employment or contract directly to our contracted workers, or to recommend or provide any work where KEUDOS CLEAN LTD is not formally notified. 

C2. We permit tips given directly to workers without notification.   

D. Claims and complaints

D1. We are fully insured for public liability up to £5M. Claims for any alleged loss or damage caused by a cleaner must be reported within 24 hours of occurrence. No claim can be made beyond that point. 

D2. In the event of complaint of unsatisfactory work, KEUDOS CLEAN LTD must be notified within 24 hours after the date/time of the clean. Claims will not be considered after the above time limit. If the client is dissatisfied with the work, a cleaner must be allowed to return and  rectify the issues at no extra charge within 2 working days of receiving a complaint. The company will not normally refund any payment if it is not permitted to return to the client’s property to complete the job, particularly where we have invited the customer to provide us a date to do so. 

Exclusions

D3. KEUDOS CLEAN LTD reserves the right not to be responsible if:

1. the cleaning job not complete due to the lack of suitable cleaning materials and/or equipment in full working order (where it has been agreed that such materials will be provided by the client), hot water or power;

2. third party entering or present at the customer’s premises during the cleaning process;

3. wear or discolouring of fabric or other surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed;

4. failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard carpet cleaning methods, these being light chemical treatment manual agitation and machine extraction;

5. existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely using standard carpet cleaning equipment;

6. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.

7. accidental damages worth £200.00 or less; any accidental damages caused by our cleaners if the customer has an unpaid balance owed to us.

E. Payment methods and terms

Payment is due on completion on the day of one-off cleaning or housekeeping service, unless otherwise indicated on the invoice. Payment can be made in cash or by bank transfer and must equal that shown on the invoice issued, unless additional charges have been incurred by late payment or non-payment. By using the services of Keudos Clean LTD, you agree fully to the following terms of payment:

E1. The customer understands that any ‘late payments’ may be subject to additional charges at the discretion of KEUDOS CLEAN LTD. If payment is not made within 7 days of invoice, unless otherwise stated on the invoice, we reserve the right to charge interest in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest Act) act 1998, being 8% above the Bank of England base rate of 4.25%, totalling 12.25%. These rates will also increase in line with the maximum permitted statutory interest rates without notice or change to these written terms. 

E2. In circumstances where payments are still overdue after 30 days, the account will be passed to a collections agency, at which time a charge of £40 per invoice will be applied, in addition to any associated legal costs, costs incurred by us to use the collection service, plus interest charges specified within these terms. You agree by using our service to pay the sum which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts. You will also bear the collector's own costs as per their terms, and any legal or other fees arising from the action taken.

E3. We will collect any outstanding monies owed to us. If as a result we have to use a debt collecting agency or county court to secure payment, you agree to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees, legal cost, or interest that will occur due to the non-payment of your outstanding bill.

PRIVACY POLICY

Collected Personal Data

In order to carry out the services required or requested by our clients, Keudos Clean LTD will need to collect and retain details that are recorded in our online forms and applications. These are password protected and will never be shared unless requested by the individual or business in question.   

Purpose of collecting data

It's our priority to ensure that our clients have received the best possible service that our cleaning staff can deliver, and we will therefore attempt to contact you to ensure that you are happy with everything we do. 

We may also use your data in follow-up to find out if and when our services will be next required. As per our Privacy Policy, your data will never be shared with anyone outside of the business, unless permitted by the client in question, for additional services that have, for example, been contracted out to an external supplier or service.
